The Ongoing mela organized by Concern India Foundation was a part of the
Kala Ghoda Festival, which was held between February 2 and February 10, 2008.

It was conceptualised by our Chairman Mr. Ardeshir B.K.Dubash, whose vision is of providing people with opportunities, not charity.  The first mela was hosted in 1995
with 21 NGOs and 50 visitors.  This year there were 67 NGOs participating from all over India, with over a lakh visitors. Over the years, Concern India Foundation's Ongoing mela has provided NGOs with a platform to network with each other as well as giving them an exposure to a competitive market scenario.

The mela brought together an excellent collection of household articles,
decorative items, garments, herbal products, food items, handmade jewelry, handcrafted leather accessories, handmade paper products.
